The House
Our house, built in 1910, is situated in a peaceful area between Oberhofen and Aeschlen. The interior has undergone careful renovation and is well-maintained. The guest room is located on the top floor of the three-story house. The rooms have been recently renovated and soundproofed. Each room is equipped with a flat screen TV, seating area, fridge, and offers a splendid view of the mountains and the lake. The newly renovated bathrooms are located in the hallway. Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the house. All rooms are non-smoking; however, smoking is permitted outdoors and in the garden.
The garden
The garden is open to all guests and features several seating areas and a barbecue spot. The view from the garden is stunning. The 200-year-old lime tree creates a delightful atmosphere and provides welcome shade in the summer. Our garden goat is always a hit with families. The natural pond is home to goldfish and local amphibians. Whether you prefer to have breakfast in the garden or simply relax, Schönörtli offers the perfect opportunity.
The Location
The Pension Schönörtli is located slightly higher on the right bank of Lake Thun, in the municipality of Sigriswil, and offers a fantastic view of the mountains and the lake. Oberhofen and Gunten are the nearest villages to the lake and can be reached by car in less than 5 minutes. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity of the pension. By bus, you can reach Oberhofen, with connections to Thun or Interlaken. In Oberhofen, there is a supermarket, a bank, various restaurants, and a boat stop.
